SF COVID Command Center identified four communities most impacted by the COVID-19 and I worked with the Joint Information Center to commission eight local artists to create designs for masks. 26,000 masks were distributed to vaccination sites, senior centers, community centers and food banks across San Francisco. Note: these masks were produced when the CDC was encouraging double-layered cloth masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
